Depending on Your configuration, the 2002 Subaru Forester comes with one of two different tires; You'll either have P205/70R15 tires on 15 inch rims, or slightly larger P215/60R16 tires on 16 inch rims. The first comes on the L models, while the second comes on the S models. As for lug nuts, You'll be using five per wheel -- Subaru uses a universal 5x100 bolt pattern on 2002 Forester models (along with a great number of other model years). They each bear thread that measures M12 X1.25. Their torque spec iS-100Nm, which comes out to just under 74 lb-ft per lug. It's advisable that You given them a quick cross finish with a torque wrench, as undertorqued or overtorqued lug nuts can be a safety hazard.
