The main under-hood fuse box on the 2003 Acura TL is located in the back of the engine compartment on the passenger's side. Once You have located the fuse box, remove the cover. There may also be a fuse laYout diagram inside the cover. Remove the fuse with either plastic tweezers designed for this job (there may be a pair inside the fuse box), or with a small set of needlenose pliers. Look at the fuse wire. If there is a visible gap in the wire or a dark or metallic smear inside the glass then the fuse is blown and needs to be replaced. Many local parts stores such as Advance Auto Parts and Auto Zone carry a wide variety of fuses. Just make sure to match the correct amp and size fuse that You are replacing.

The "Main Relay" also known as the "Fuel Pump Relay" is NOT under the hood. This relay is locared in a fairly tight spot a few inches from the brake pedal. It is easier to access if you remove the lover part of the dash under the steering wheel. It is about 2 inches by 3 inches by 1 3/4 inches and slides to a steel bracket that is held in by 1 10mm bolt.
