The 2004Chrysler Sebring uses a Dexron ViAutomatic transmission fluid. This is the recommended fluid to use, according to the manufacturer. You do not have to change this fluid as often as You would change Your engine oil, but it is good to keep it topped up. The recommended interval between changes is between 30,000 miles to 60,000 miles. So You might only have to do this a few times through the lifespan of the vehicle. You can check Your fuel levels by pulling out the dipstick found under the hood, and seeing where it marks on the stick. If it is low, then top it up promptly. If it has been over 30,000 miles since Your last change, then consider takeng it in to get done.
