The cabin air filter for a 2004 Toyota Sequoia is going to be located behind the glove compartment. You're not going to need to use any tools to access this area. To get started You're going to want to first open the glove compartment and let the lid rest downward. Now put one hand on each side of this section and push inward. While You're pushing in You're also going to want to lift it up and outward. It may take a little force but it will come out with enough pressure. Once You have the outer section off You'll now see a black plastic boxAnd inside of that will be the air filter.

I guess Toyota forgot to put a cabin air filter in the 2004 Toyota Sequoia because there is no cabin air filter location at all in the model year 2004 Toyota Sequoia.
