As the owner of a 2005 Chevy Equinox, You may have found Yourself in the position of needing to know where to find the coolant temperature sensor inside Your vehicle. It is relatively easy to find in the engine bay. The first thing You should do is go to the front of Your vehicle, and using the prop arm found on the left or passenger side of the engine compartment, secure the hood in an open and upright position. Next, take a look inside the compartment, just behind the right cylinder head. You should find the coolant temperature sensor residing within the coolant pipe, just below the air intake pipe.
