The 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe is not a picky beast when it comes to coolant types; the most important thing is that You don't mix different styles. However, the recommended coolant is Peak OET Antifreeze/Engine Coolant, NAO0B3. This can be had for around $25 per jug from most reputable automotive part stores. Alternatively, You can find it online for around the same price, delivered. Many people opt for something along the lines of Dex-Cool, and that's also perfectly acceptable. Like I said before though, it's important that You don't mix more than 15% of a coolant with a different coolant. Therefore, if You just picked up Your Tahoe preowned, and don't know what's in the system now, it's better to do a full drain; certain coolants react poorly to others, thickening them and potentially damaging Your engine.
