The 2005 Dodge Caravan transmission fluid capacity is 16.3 quarts. Valvoline Full Synthetic Transmission Fluid ATF+4Can be used in Your Dodge Caravan. It is recommended to change Your transmission fluid every 80,000 miles. If You don't change the transmission fluid on schedule, You'll be lubricating Your transmission with metal shavings and other contaminants. This will shorten the transmission's life. It's important to regularly check the transmission fluid level between service intervals. Letting Your car run low on transmission fluid can cause the transmission to shift improperly or not at all. Checking the transmission fluid consists of pulling the transmission dipstick out while the engine is warmed up and running and with the transmission in park.

It is 4 quarts , not 16.3 quarts. 3.8 litres. That would be american quarts and not Canadian. Americans have totally different measurements. Use the metric so you don't make stupid mistakes. BTW, 5 Canadian gallons is 6 US gallons. They have slightly different cup size and fluid oz are different. When you see comments you never know which system they are using. That is why metric is better.
