The cruise control system in a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 has two separate fuses that control it. One portion controls the actual cruise control system and the second one controls the buttons and system that is located in the cabin. The first fuse can be found in the main fuse panel under the hood. The second fuse is located under the driver's side of the dash. If Your cruise control is not working You will need to inspect both of these to make sure that they are in tact. If they are fine then there could be a problem with the actual cruise control computer and You will need a dealership level scan tool to diagnose and fix that.
