The 2005 Nissan Altima comes in two different engine variants -- the 2.5L 4Cylinder, as well as the 3.5L V6. Predictably, the number of fuel injectors will too vary, since the number correlates directly with the number of cylinders. You'll find each of the four or SRX on the top of the engine, connected to a rail, inserted into the engine block. Now, it's important to note that if it's Your first time servicing a fuel injector, You'll need to be very careful. They have many components made of plastic, so it's quite easy to inadvertently damage one. This is complicated by the fact that they're usually quite difficult to remove. Just take Your time, be careful, and make sure You've depressurized the fuel system and are wearing protective eyewear before You complete any fuel system service or replacement.

The 2005 nissan altima fuel injectors are located at the head of the engine, at the intake manifold near the intake valve.
