The best type of coolant to use in the 2005 Toyota Camry is Toyota super long-life coolant, or something similar such as a high quality ethylene glycol based non silicate, non-amine, non-nitrate, and non-borate cool with long-life hybrid organic acid technology. If the vehicle has the 2.4L 2AZ-FE engine in it, it can hold 6.6 quarts. If it has either the 3.0 L 1MZˆ’FE or 3.3 L 3MZˆ’FE engines it has a coolant capacity of 9.8 quarts. You should make sure the cool level is within the proper range by looking at the overflow tank in the engine compartment. While You're driving it's a good idea to occasionally peak over at the coolant temperature gauge which is the needle the furthest to the left on the instrument cluster. If You notice the temperature rising in to the red zone pull the vehicle over and let the engine cool down.
