The 2006 Cadillac CTS should be able to last over 150,000 miles with regular maintenance. The most important thing You should do to make Your car last a long time is do all the scheduled maintenance for it. Scheduled maintenance can help reduce the wear and tear on the most expensive components in Your car like the engine and transmission. It is also a good opportunity for a mechanic to get a chance to look at Your car. When Your mechanic checks Your car they can find small problems and fix them before they become larger and more expensive. Usually cars will last well over 150,000 miles, but that is just a good rule of thumb for a GM vehicle since that's when some more expensive parts may start to go.
