On the 2006 Ram 1500, the fuel pressure regulator is fully integrated with the fuel pump and filter -- it is part of the fuel pump assembly, and not considered a user serviceable part. It's not to be replaced at regular intervals. If You're having issues with it, it's quite an involved and extensive swap -- You'll need to drop the fuel tank to gain access to the full assembly. Some drivers report hearing "rumors" that replacing the fuel pressure regulator can improve throttle response -- this simply is not true. The regulator either works or it doesn't -- there's no need to replace it unless it has failed. As such, You'll need to replace the entire assembly, which is a job best fit for a professional.
