The 2006 Honda CR-V has an AUX input that is located on the dash of the vehicle. This is a 3.5mm headphone jack and You will need a male to male 3.5mm cable to be able to connect a device to the vehicle. An AUX input is a great thing to have in Your CR-V because it will allow You to connect MP3 players or smartphones to the car and use them as the Audio source. A standard 3.5mm jack cannot control the Audio from Your device though so You will still need to select songs manually on Your phone or MP3 player. The volume will also need to be controlled on both the device and the head unit to get the optimal sound.

I have a 2006 EX, and if that's the case, then I bought my cassette adapter for no reason. Please elaborate on where the jack is located!!

The 2006 honda cr aux input location is on the dash board of the vehicle, look for the 3.5 Mm audio jack.

You just repeated the exact same thing. I don't think there is an AUX port in the 2006.
