The average life expectancy of the 2006 Mazda6 is around 200,000 miles. This assumes a few things, however, the first of which is that it has been taken care of. If You look in the owner's manual for the vehicle You will find the maintenance schedule. This is a list of times and dates that You should change certain parts, like oil, spark plugs, etc. In addition to this, it is expected that You take it in for a tune-up at least once a year. If You do not follow these instructions then the car will not last as long as estimated. Obviously, this also assumes that You do not wreck or damage the vehicle.
