The idle air control valve of a 2006 Toyota Corolla is located near the throttle body of the intake manifold. The idle air control valve controls Your engines idle speed and prevents it from stalling while idling. A bad IAC valve is responsible for stalling of a car, and incorrect idle speed. It may also cause the check engine light to come on . In some cases where the IAC valve is completely toasted, the car won't start. If You ever face any of these symptoms of a bad IAC valve, then it is time to get it changed. It will cost You about $345 to $495, but the cost may vary depending upon where You get it done.

I just took my throttle body off attempting to easily get to my IAC and there was NO IAC attached to my throttle body like just about every video I saw on Youtube.! So is it actually built into the throttle body because the 2 coolant hoses connectors are sticking out?
