The air ride suspension or "leveling" system in the 2007 Cadillac DTS cannot be turned off with a switch or release lever. Unlike Lincoln vehicles that are equipped with an air suspension shut off switch in the trunk, the Cadillac's is always engaged. The system is designed to detect when the car is being raised and jacked up for repair or to change a flat tire, and will automatically retain the air in the suspension. The Cadillac's leveling is controlled, however, by both a relay and a fuse. If You wish to disengage the compressor, locate the fuse box stored under the DTS' rear seat cushion next to the battery. It should be labeled, the "ELC Fuse" and iS30 amps. The relay is numbered #55.
