The coolant capacity on the 2007 Chevy Silverado depends on the number of cylinders an engine has. The V6 engine has a coolant capacity of 16.5 US quarts. The V8 engine has a total capacity of 16.9 US quarts. If You want to know what type of coolant to use then I suggest A50/50 mix of Dex-cool and water. Topping off coolant can be one of the easiest tasks You can perform on Your Silverado. You don't need any tools just Your bare hands. All You have to do is unscrew the coolant cap and pour before reaching the MAC line. It's a piece of cake.
