Honda useS-TYPE H automatic transmission fluid in the 2007 Honda CR-V. This is Honda's own OEM fluid and that is all that they recommend You use for Your transmission. In the past Honda has had known problems with the transmissions on their SRX cylinder vehicles due to an oil delivery problem. This led them to develop their own gearbox oil that has better lubricating properties than the competition on the market. If You ever need to add fluid or change fluid it is very important to use only the Type H transmission fluid because anything else could cause damage to the gears in Your SUV.
