The MAP sensor in the 2007 Jeep Liberty is located below the air conditioning compressor. You'll need a 14-millimeter socket on a long breaker bar to release the tension from the Serpentine belt and take it off the pulleys and move it to the side. You'll need 13-millimeter and a 15 millimeter socket to remove the compressor. There are three bolts, two shorter ones and one through bolt that is about 6 inches long. Once the bolts are out, manipulate the compressor until You can move it out of Your way, now You will see the map sensor just below the backside of the compressor. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the 9/32 bolt and pull the map sensor out. When installing a new sensor put a little bit off oil on the rubber seal before bolting it in

The 2007 jeep liberty does not use a mass air flow sensor but instead employs a map sensor located in the intake manifold.
