The 2007 Toyota Camry idle air control valve is located on the throttle body where the air intake enters the engine. The idle air control valve does exactly what it sounds like it would do, it sets the idle speed for the engine and allows in enough air to keep the vehicle idling well. Usually if You have a problem with this valve You will get a check engine light from Your ECU letting You know that there was a fault detected with the system. If You don't get a code then a sign of a problem would be rough idling and the inability to hold an idle while stopped. If that happens You should check the wiring and the sensor to make sure they are in good condition.
