From time to time, Your 2008 Buick Enclave may have issues with the transmission control module, and therefore it's important to know where it is. It's a key electrical component that, in addition to the powertrain control module (PCM), performs the majority of the electronic communication between Your vehicle's components. Predictably, the TCM takes care of the transmission side of things. In order to find it, You'll need to look to the transmission gear box. It's a plastic part that's about an inch thick, and shouldn't be difficult to locate once You see the adjAccent valves. It will be located on the front of the transmission, facing the radiator and grille. They can be quite pricey, but not as pricey as a new vehicle.
