The life expectancy of the 2008 Buick Lucerne depends on how well the vehicle is taken care of. With proper care by mainly following the maintenance schedule You can get anywhere froM300,000 to over 500,000 miles or more. If the Lucerne is neglected then it might get as little aS-100,000 miles or so. Proper maintenance will include following the maintenance schedule that is provided in the owner's manual. One of the most important things You can do for the vehicle is to do regular oil changes which will help to keep the engine clean. For the Lucerne You should change the oil and the oil filter every 7,500 miles. Other maintenance on the vehicle includes changing other fluid, changing filters, changing spark plugs, etc.

The Lucerne replaced the LeSabre. I have had three Lesabre models that went well over 200K. I had a 1991 LeSabre that went 350K before I sold it. I have heard claims of cab drivers going 500K on a Buick 3800 V6 by changing the Cam and lifters at 300K. I am going to buy a Lucerne with 50K on it here in a few days-- change oil and fluids and see If I can make 300K over the next decade. Good Luck

To Kim J ANY car that can't do 100k miles needs to be dumped You seriously think saying it can do 100k is a lot? Are you a child?
