The 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee bolt pattern iS5 X4.5, and the torque requirement iS85 pounds. When You are removing or putting lug nuts in You need to make sure that You stay in that range, and that You do not force a stuck or rusted lug nut. If You strip the thread on the lug nut then it will simply spin in the slot and will not go in or out. This will require it to be pushed out, normally by some kind of press. This can damage the wheel and should be avoided where possible. If the lug nut breaks then You will need to remove the rotor and unthread it from the back. This is not hard, but it is tedious. Both of these situations are easily avoidable with some care.
