It's difficult to give an exact life expectancy for the 2009 Chevy Malibu because there is a different driving experience for everyone. Assuming You take care of Your Malibu it can get to 250,000 miles or so, possibly more if You're lucky. A big part of how long Your vehicle lasts is how well You take care of it. Check out Your owners manual and take a look at the maintenance schedule and try to follow everything listed there. The single most important thing to do is probably changing Your engine oil at the correct intervals. Engine health can quickly deteriorate if You neglect it and once those components start failing You're going to have several problems. -
