The key fob for a 2009 Nissan Rogue is going to require a CR2032 battery. These are very affordable and You can expect to spend between $6 and $11 for a new battery. To get started with replacing it You're first going to want to remove the physical key from the key fob. Now grab a pry tool or a screwdriver and stick it in the alcove where the key was. You're going to want to apply enough pressure so that the two sides pull apart. Now once You have them apart You can see where the battery is supposed to go. Once You swap it out You can juSTSnap everything back together.

The battery for the fob is 1860. 2032 is for the newer remotes.
