The 2010 Ford Ranger only comes with a regular engine air filter and there is no cabin air filter filter included. There is likely a piece of mesh or a screen to keep out the larger bits of debris from getting into Your engine and HVAC system. This doesn't require any special maintenance for You to perform. Many of these older vehicles don't have a cabin filter but it's not a problem, You'll just get a bit more dust and small debris like pollen in the cabin than You would otherwise. -

The 2010 ford ranger cabin air filter location can either be under the dashboard behind the glove box, or it can sometimes be under the hood of the vehicle near the back.

I've searched high and low for a cabin filter. I can conclusivly say, it does not have one

I have not been able to find that part for my 2010 Ford Ranger, I suspect there is not a CABIN AIR FILTER in that vehicle. The only air filter is the ENGINE air filter.
