The 2010 Hyundai Sonata uses green coolant designed for Asian vehicles. In general You do not want to mix different types of coolant because it can cause corrosion in Your cooling system and damage it. If You are unsure about the type of coolant that is in Your car You should add distilled water to it if it is low. Adding distilled water may lower the cooling capacity of the system but it will not cause any permanent damage to it like mixing different types of coolants can do. I recommend that You check Your coolant levels every time that You change the oil in Your car and top them off as needed to keep Your vehicle running well.
