The fuel pump relay is located on the passenger side fender of the 2010 Nissan Xterra. It is very important for the car to work. It provides the necessary amperage to the fuel pump, once the key is switched on, allowing the pump to transfer fuel to the engine. Signs of a failing fuel pump relay include the malfunctioning of the fuel pump, which can abruptly turn the car off . Relays should always be replaced after a faulty one is identified. In case of a faulty fuel pump relay, it is advised to get it replaced before driving the car. The average cost for fuel pump relay replacement is between $50 and $75.

The 2010 nissan xterra fuel pump relay is located on the passenger side fender wall. You should see a set of 5 relays together. It is the first one in the back.
