Your Ford Fiesta MAP sensor is mounted to the intake manifold to the left of Your engine bay. The sensor is responsible for keeping the air intake correct, in order to facilitate the timing of the engine. If the sensor is not working then You will notice that the engine runs sluggishly, or that You are having reduced acceleration. Given enough time this will lead to damage and may kill the engine. A new sensor will cost You about 200 dollars, but You will need to replace it quickly as if You do not the engine repairs will cost You a lot more. They are not too hard to put on, but You can pay to have it put on for another 100 dollars.
