The 2012 AudiA4 USB location is... Nowhere! Nada, none, nothing, I'm afraid. You don't have one. I know it's pretty weird, given that Your vehicle isn't that old, but it is what it is. Now, that doesn't mean You can't have USB on Your Audi; in fact, You can buy direct from the manufacturer an AMI cable that allows You to use MINI usb, full size (type A) usb as well as a MINI-plug. Granted, if You buy from Audi You're going to pay a stupidly high premium for the cable, like $80. You can get this much much cheaper on eBay, for around $12. Installation of the cable is as simple as plugging one end into the AMI connector on Your dashboard and the other end into Your USB device.
2012 AUDI A4 Quatto six-speed manual, three twelve-volt supplies, no USB port. Can't get a USB adapter to work with any of the three12 volt supplies however the cigarette lighter works fine. (I don't smoke).
