The antenna on a 2012 Honda Civic is on the center of the roof, just above the rear window. If You are replacing the antenna, the first thing You need to do is remove the headrests from the rear seats. Pushing the tab below the headrest on the right-hand side and lift them straight up. Next, You'll have to remove the handholds above the rear windows. Pull and hold the handle down while prying the plastic covers from the handle. There is a metal spring clip inside the handle, squeeze the tabs towards the middle and pull the handle out. Now, remove the plastic clips that hold the headliner up along the back window. Remove the plastic trim piece along the sides of the rear window, stick a flat screwdriver behind it and pull out. Now start pulling the headliner down, just up until the center pillar. You'll need a 17 millimeter socket to remove the hold holding the antenna on and unplug the electrical connector going to it.
