To access the fuel pump relay for a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee You're first going to need to open the driver's side door of the vehicle. From here look towards the corner left area and You're going to see Your hood release button. Now go back outside the vehicle and go ahead and lift up the hood and undo the safety latch on it. Now that You have the hood up look towards the battery and just to the left of it is going to be Your fuse box. You'll need to remove the cover of the fuse boxAnd once You do You're going to see a relay panel.

The fuel pump relay can be found at the relay panel in the fuse box of the 2012 jeep grand cherokee.

For at least some versions of the 2012 GC, the relay is not very accessable, inside the TIPM, unless it has been serviced under recall or otherwise modified. If serviced under recall it might be on the back side of the grill, left side as you face the engine. There is also a third party that offers TIPM repair service and also offers a jumper and fuse kit to bypass the original relay through another relay that is also inside the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module - fuse / relay box)
