The battery on the 2013 Buick Enclave is behind the passenger front seat in the floor. Open the passenger rear door, lift up the floor Matt and You should see the access panel. Your car battery provides the zap of electricity needed to put electrical components to work. It also converts chemical energy into the electrical energy that powers Your car and delivers voltage to its starter. And it stabilizes the voltage (a.k.a. Energy supply) that keeps Your engine running.Without it, Your car won't run. The battery also stores a lot of electricity, and if it can't properly contain that power it can cause damage to the charging system or starter. Not only does this render Your engine useless, but it also adds to the cost of getting Your car up and running again.

Please disregard the answer to look under the hood because you will only find the positive and negative posts for jump starting or charging another vehicle. The battery is actually located behind the front passenger's seat under the carpeting/mat which has to be removed for access.

A battery is located under the hood of the 2013 buick enclave, look for the large black box that has a red and black connector on the top.
