The coolant temperature sensor for a 2013 Ford F-150 truck is going to be located under the hood of the vehicle. You're going to want to pop up the hood and then look towards the front area. There will be a line connecting the radiator to the top of the engine block and You're going to be able to find this sensor by following this line. If You need a replacement sensor they are going to cost between $25 and $60. If You want to take this in to a shop to have them change it out the total cost will be between $150 and $250.

The ECT sensor is located under the intake manifold. Snot a difficult job ta do but a Real "PITA" with so much to disconnect and or remove. NOTE: it wasn't my ECT sensor, but it was a bad fan Relay. Been a hotrodder since 1957 so i do my own, but searchin for the problem and ix is a real internet challenge (and actually the most time consuming.
