The 2013 Ford Fiesta uses motorcraft WSS-M2C938-A transmission fluid. This is a synthetic gear oil that is designed to help protect Your transmission from any excessive wear or tear that could damage it. You should check Your transmission fluid every time that You change the oil in Your car. You will of course want to make sure that it is full, but also inspect it to make sure it is free from debris. Usually debris will make the fluid reflective or sparkly because it is pieces of metal that are in the fluid.
