That it is a good daily car to drive.
I like that is a fun car to drive. I like that it also fits both of my kids. I like how good it is on gas.
accountCircle Sophie H
Small, comfortable, and easy to use.
I really love this car. It is compact and very comfortable. There is plenty of cargo space in general. It is easy to clean as well. The only downside is that it sometimes lurches and has issues like that but we were able to get it fixed.
accountCircle Elizabeth B
It is a great starter car for teenagers.
I love the space that I have in my vehicle! It is honestly the perfect size for me and it drives really nicely. I do wish it had a center console to keep belongings in, but I cannot really say anything else bad about it!
accountCircle Sandra H
My super awesome car that I have.
Gets great gas mileage, has heated seats and side mirrors. It's very comfortable. I absolutely love the Bluetooth features because it makes it safer to make phone calls and listen to music. I love that I can have different colored lights on the inside.

The Ford Fiesta is a very economical and fuel efficient car.
I love that my car is very fuel efficient. I like that my car is made in USA. I only dislike that the hatch area is so small.
accountCircle Ren S
A zippy car for an affordable price that offers all the essential luxuries
A zippy car at an affordable price. The seats are comfortable even for someone who is both quite tall and overweight, which is really nice. The steering is responsive and the ride is smooth. Lots of cup holders, including one for back seat passengers. The trunk is massive and can fit a hay bale or a Costco trip's worth of groceries without issue. The car looks appealing and the automatic features are nice.

Fiesta - fun to drive, and comfortable.
I really like my fiesta! It is surprisingly roomy and comfortable inside, turns on a dime, and is super easy to park. I have the manual, which also makes it pretty zippy and fun to drive. It is quite maneuverable on the highway, which I very much appreciate.
accountCircle Craig c
It's fun and easy to drive.
It's a small quiet care that is fun and easy to drive. It's a hatch back which gives me room for hauling items. It's easy on gas and very low maintenance.

This car is so small, you can park almost anywhere.
The clutch and the transmission had to be repair soon after I bought it. This car was not my choice, but it beats walking for two years! It is a nice little car but it is not a great car. It was said by some that this car was not made right. I had very bad credit so this car was over price to me. Too costly!
accountCircle Marcelo M
The car is fine if bought as a manual if you prefer automated do not.
Awful transmission issues which cause the circle to chug and stall even though it is an automatic. Ford refuses to solve the issue and are in a class action lawsuit. The interior has some good feather but parts of it gets broken down by sunlight. The mileage is great but that automatic transmission is actually manual and is shifted by a como which ford does not tell you.
accountCircle Abby L
It has a lot of mechanical issues, including problems with the transmission
I love the gas mileage that it gets and how inexpensive it is for me to keep it filled. But it has a lot of mechanical issues.
accountCircle Cassandra M
Has a recall/not ideal for a family bigger than three.
There is a recall on the transmission which will be replaced. When you press the gas to go after stopping at a light, stop sign, etc. It jerks and then will start going. It takes longer than it should to get to 60 on the freeway. It is a pretty small car, not ideal for a family of more than three. We have one child in a car seat and one in a booster seat and it leaves no room for anyone else in the back seat. Gas is great. Bluetooth does not always connect or find our devices even though they are saved in the system. Most of the time, we have to turn the car off and back on (sometimes more than once) to get it to connect. We try it manually but it still will not connect. Haven't had any issues with leaks but we have replaced the battery twice... The second one I think was a faulty battery.
accountCircle J E
The Ford fiesta is not worth the investment.
My car has experienced several recalls. I had to take in my car three times to fix the door locks and latches. The third time, it was the right door latch. Due to my warranty expiring, I was told I would need to pay full price in order for my car door latch to be fixed. I was never offered a discount. All of my headlights are out except the brights. I have had to replace my battery, belt, windshield wipers, brakes--twice, and now my headlights. The car has just been a lot of hassle and it is not the smoothest drive. Parts wear out fast. The only benefit to having this car is that it is good on gas, it still goes strong even after reaching the 150,000 miles mark, and it can handle long distance, commuting driving.

Nightmare! 2013 fiesta hb SE
Had 5 years from new and nothing but a headache! 7 transmissions, 1 compressor replaced which went again right after warranty expired and they wanted $1600 to replace again lol so i dumped it 2 weeks ago and didn't look back. Bad door latches, ford dealership cracked the door panels and put glue over the cracks which stuck out horribly! Bad bad gas mileage! Most i got was 17mpg and when I finally dumped it, was getting 11! Service department confirmed it. Many other issues. Cute but a NIGHTMARE!!! Never a ford again! Bad experience.. I can't give a minus rating or even a 0 lol
accountCircle Heather L
Ford fiesta is a posh vehicle.
Transmission problems since the day I got it brand new and the dealership refused to help me out and said the car is supposed to drive that way. It shakes and shutters and jerks when accelerating from a stop. It feels extremely unsafe and we will be trading it in soon.
accountCircle Brenda L
The conversation mirror is my favorite feature.
I have trouble with my legs and feet. On the door there is the usual but they have a compartment on the bottom. It takes up to much room and makes it hard to get out. When I go out, I have to park where I can open door all the way.

Ford fiesta, good car if needing good gas mileage and not much space inside.
My fiesta is the perfect size and is just what I need. It is easy to park, which is good for me, because of it is size. The inside is very nice and easy to clean. It is kind of small inside, and difficult for passengers to fit in the back. The air conditioning works great and gets cold very fast. The heat does as well. There is no seat heating or cooling. When going over dips it is very easy to hit the front of the car because it is so low. The gas mileage is good and it doesn't cost a lot to fill it up. There is a decent trunk size. The audio has a Bluetooth system which is very nice. There have not been many problems with my car besides the front bumper hanging low because of a dip I hit.

Great car for a single person!
This car is perfect for a single person who is just traveling around town. It gets great gas mileage. I drive it to work and all around town to visit friends and family. There have been issues with its transmission and it is not super fast. It will not go from 0-60 mph but it gets the job done.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Alexis D.

The compact size. I think that it makes it so you can easily park and fit into so many different spaces. I also like that the car is so user friendly and everything is easy to use and figure out how to use.

likeFilled Tara M.

It is cheap to buy gas and I like the small compact size of the car. It came with the sunroof and has heated seats. The hatchback makes it convenient to pick up larger items. It gets 28 miles per gallon and drives great on both highway and city streets.

likeFilled Zach H.

It gets good gas mileage, and it's very sleek. I love how small and compact it is, just perfect for someone like me. It's also very easy to keep maintained. It's a very nice vehicle, especially for a first car like it is for me.

likeFilled Katie C.

Great gas mileage, up to 40 mpg. Rather large trunk. Good running. Never had any mechanical problems with it. 4 door is the way to go or the hatchback. 5 speed is easy to drive. All the bells a whistles with the high price.

likeFilled Hunter V.

It is compact, and easy to drive. It wasn't super pricey either. It gets great gas mileage. I use it to drive to and from work (about 2 miles both ways) and to the grocery store about the same distance and only have to fill up every two weeks.

likeFilled Alex C.

I think that the best things about my ford fiesta are the price, gas mileage, and brand recognition. It's a cheap car, it gets pretty decent mileage, and everyone knows the ford brand for better or worse.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Alexis D.

The transmission in my car is not always as awesome as many different cars. It sometimes stalls when it goes from second gear to third gear causing a huge stall and lunge forward switching gears. Sometimes that creates and scary environment for driving and starting the car.

dislikeFilled Tara M.

It is Low to the ground so sometimes it is hard to get out of the car and does not drive well over states that have potholes. Even though the seats have warmers I would've rather had leather seats rather than cloth seats.

dislikeFilled Zach H.

There's really no cons to my vehicle that I can think of. It is a prefect first car for someone who wants a car that won't take up space. It is very sleek and fast. The color is nice too. Ford did a great job with the model.

dislikeFilled Katie C.

The speakers went out pretty much right away. One was cover by warranty and then the other went out. Seems to have a lot of recalls. Very compact for larger people that may need to drive it, you will hit your knees on the steering wheel.

dislikeFilled Hunter V.

There really is not much space for backseat passengers. With my seat as close to the steering wheel as I can comfortably be, there is only about five inches between the edge of the back seat and the back of the driver's seat.

dislikeFilled Alex C.

I think that the cons of my vehicle are the problems that constantly come up that I have to fix. It is not an extremely well built car so it has to get taken to the shop often. Also it is not that fast. I like to drive fast sometimes and this car doesn't go too fast.

Is The 2013 Ford Fiesta A Good Car?

Yes, it is reliable and drives well in the snow. I have the hatchback edition and I love the spacious trunk.
Nicole B.
Yes, I find it reliable. It is compact, quiet and efficient. No repairs often - just normal things like oil and/or tire change, etc.
Sindy S.
It's a good car if it's just you and 1 maybe 2 kids, if you have a big family I would advise you to get a bigger car. But the gas mileage is great and it's low maintenance. I fill up my gas tank twice... Read More

It is, I like it. I have had minor problems with it and easily fixed. Good gas mileage. A little jumpy but nothing bad.
Anna H.
Yes. I get good mileage. A full tank will last 2 weeks in the city. It also has good horsepower. It is on the small side
Agnes M.
For the most part, it gets me to where I need to go and doesn't have to many problems and doesn’t require a lot of trips to the mechanic.
Nicole C.
Yes, it is the perfect car for the city. It gets great gas mileage and is compact enough to fit in small spots. Which is fantastic for street parking in the city, which can be scarce.
JENNA K.
Yes--it's been as reliable as I would expect, though we've had some problems with one of the door latches and the tires seem to wear out more quickly than on other cars
Ann H.

How Reliable Is The 2013 Ford Fiesta?

I have not had any problems with the car. I drive it back and forth to college and work through the snow so I would say it is reliable.
Nicole B.
No, I haven't experienced any problems with my car yet. Am quite happy so far. (have it for almost 2 years).
Sindy S.
The main problems I have had with my car is all the recalls that I've had fixed since I've owned it. I bought my car in Feb 2015 and right now it's Dec 2019 and I have had 8 recalls on my car so far.
Melissa B.
Only had it for one year but it is made long distances with no issues. I'd say it is reliable I see myself keeping this car for a long time.
Anna H.
Yes. I do not recommend getting a vehicle with a dual shift. Sooner or later you will have to purchase a new clutch
Gary N.
Yes, in the past there was a recall that I had to get fixed for the transmission and my air compressor was having problems.
Chris P.
I believe there was a recall at one point for a shaky transmission but we have not experienced that issue.
Chay M.
Yes, it is reliable. The only problems we've had are with one of the door latches, and that the tires seem to wear out faster than I would expect
Roe M.

Is The 2013 Ford Fiesta A Good Value?

I spent about $6,000 and I think it was worth the price, everything works well and I have never had any problems, but new tires would have been nice.
Nicole B.
You get what you pay for - mine is quite standard, no electronic window openers, etc but I wanted a reasonable and reliable car with less mileage (I am very familiar with the brand also coming from... Read More

I bought my car used with 31,000 miles and I paid $14,000 for my car. I would say a brand new fiesta straight off the lot would cost around $17,000.
Melissa B.
I bought mine from a private owner but I think I got it for a fair price. With all the good qualities it has it definitely was not a bad price.
Anna H.
$10,000 is the high cost of the car. I would shop around for the right price in your budget. Always start out small
Connie A.
It was used at 7,999. I would say it’s a good value cause it’s not a lot of special things about the car that make it expensive.
Carmelo R.
$17,000. Yes, it's less expensive than other cars of a similar value, in my experience. Based on how reliable it's been, I think it's a good value
Beckie S.
I played a little over $6,000 for a newer used model. It was a very good price for the vehicle and has been worth it so far. It is missing some minor things like mirrors on the visor but I still think... Read More
