The 2013 Hyundai Veloster has a 14 1/2-inch diameter steering wheel. If You are planning on swapping steering wheels You want to grab some tools before You begin. You will need a T40 torxBit, Phillips head screwdriver, ratchet with an extension, a 10- and 21-millimeter socket. You may also need a Flathead screwdriver for prying it's a painters tape to mark the location of the steering wheel. The first thing You need to do is disconnect the negative battery terminal. Use the 10-millimeter socket to loosen the terminal and remove it from the top of the battery. There are two T40 screws on the backside of the steering wheel that You need to remove first, You can get at them from the sides. The steering wheel airbag will now be able to come out, You might have to use a little force. Unplug the electrical connector going to the airbag. Now remove the 21-millimeter Bolt holding the steering wheel onto the column.
