The 2014 Chevy Silverado cooling fan relay is located in the engine compartment which is on the right-hand (driver) side under the hood. There are two associated relays and they are numbered twelve and thirteen. Symptoms You may experience if Your cooling fan relay is going bad include: overheating of the engine, fans no longer run. Fans continue running even after the engine is shut off, poor performance form the A/C system. The Check Engine light and/or the temperature warning light could also illuminate signaling an issue with the relay. A bad relay can be caused by damage from circuit changes, overheating of the relay itself, or relay control module failure.

I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 LT Z71. Can you give a better location of the relays 12 & 13? So I take it it's not in the fuse box drivers side top of fender well. If it's next to the electric dual cooling fan how do I get to it, from the top of radiator or from underneath? If you have a pic or better description of location I would appreciate it. I am having those above issues. Thanks
