The 2014Cherokees transmission control module is housed within the engine bay. The engine bay is mounted onto the rear side of the engine block, which is found adjAccent to the cars primary battery. As the name suggests, this module uses the cars computerized interface to transmit signals and regulate the functions of the transmission systems in the car.
