The P26AB code in the 2014 Ram 1500 indicates an issue with the engine coolant bypass valve. The code definition will state that the bypass valve is stuck. To replace it Yourself, the valve is located on the frame rail under the hood on the passenger side. It is recommended that You first remove the air filter boxAssembly for easier access. An 8mm socket is required to remove the bolts. Disconnect the three connected hoses and the red electrical connector.
