The starter on a 2015 Honda CR-V can be found at the base of the engine block on the driver's side. This will be near the transmission housing as well. If Your CR-V is having trouble starting then it is usually a problem with the battery or the starter. Usually if You hear no noise coming from Your starter then that is a sign that the battery is dead. If You hear a clicking sound then that frequently means that the starter is starting to fail and will need to be replaced. Always make sure that the wiring is connected tightly to Your starter motor as well since loose wires can cause it to short out and not work.

The starter is on the PASSENGER SIDE. Listen, folks, I changed my starter yesterday. I had to remove the PASSENGER SIDE wheel and access the starter bolts from the PASSENGER SIDE.
