The 2015 Nissan Versa has a transmission fluid capacity of 5 quarts. It is recommended to use Nissan CVT NS3 fluid. Transmission fluid, similar to oil, is a lubricant and its purpose is to make sure that the various working parts of the transmission are not subject to damage from heat. The cost of getting the transmission fluid changed on Your Versa is between $60 and $80 for labor and $20 for parts. You should get Your transmission fluid changed every 90,000 miles or so. The signs that You need a change include a grinding noise coming from the transmission, problems shifting gears, slippage during gear shifts, sudden unexplained surges, and a delay in movement after You place the vehicle in gear.
