The 2015 Toyota Corolla's fuel filter is located inside the fuel pump which is housed under the rear passenger seat. To access, remove the seat and lift the carpeted flap. Release the pump hatch to reveal the top of the pump and filter. The filter should be changed at least every 30,000 miles. Debris and use can clog and impair its function. Signs it's d***y include reduced engine performance and economy, mIS Fires, stalling and hard starts. To prolong its life, change synthetic oil at recommended intervals, every 7,500-10,000 miles or 12 months. Use the correct octane in the gas tank (regular, unleaded 87 octane) and schedule routine checkups that include emissions inspections. Regular maintenance will help preserve the Corolla's long-term reliability.
