What's the 2016 Jeep Patriot power steering fluid type?

The 2016 Jeep Patriot uses a power steering pump to circulate lubricants in and around gears and pistons to help You move the wheels with ease. The Patriot can use any synthetic multi-vehicle PS fluid in its pump designed for American vehicles. It's important to never let these fluid levels drop to prevent damage to the pump and Your steering hydraulics. The Patriot's PS reservoir can be found under the hood in the engine bay. It is located on the passenger side of the vehicle next to the firewall. A plastic container holds the PS fluid. The container is usually marked by symbols or lettering to identify it.
