A key fob for the 2017 Nissan Sentra uses A3volt CR2032 battery. These are probably the most common battery used in key fobs so it's always helpful to have some extra just in case. Fortunately they're also very cheap and You can pick up A4 pack for about $5 to $10 depending on where You get it. Replacing the battery is also a simple procedure and should only take You a minute. It usually involves using a screwdriver or any object to pry open the sides of the key fob. Inside You'll have easy access to the battery and You just need to pull it out and place in the new one. -

The 2017 nissan sentra requires a key fob battery size of cr2032 3v.
Bought a used 2017 Sentra S, basic trim I assume. Key FOB(non-auto/non-smart?) push button to unarm car/unlock door says on inside of FOB CR1620 and has same for battery found inside. Smaller than the CR2032 I assumed was the right size when buying a replacement battery.

For me having bought a used 2017 Sentra S, I assume basic trim with a(non-smart?) push button to unarm car/unlock door says CR1620 on the inside of the FOB as well as the battery. It is smaller than the CR2032 I had assumed and bought.
I live in Canada so it may be different but the 2017 Sentra fob battery replacement video shows a CR2025 which also happens to be the battery size Itook out of the fob when replacing. With any fob, including condo fobs, just open it up, being the battery to the store and put the same one back in. Remember to take a pic of how the battery is before you take it out. I don'tknow if it matters but the 2017 Nissanfob has the writing on the battery facing down

It seems like the 2032 works but the 2025 is the oem
