The battery in the 2018 BMW 430i Convertible is located on the passenger's side of the trunk, behind a trim and carpet access panel that can be removed with a small twist tab. Behind the panel, You'll find the battery pretty well affixed, but still easily accessible -- especially for a convertible. If You need to jump the car or change the battery, that's quite the luxury.
