What's the 2018 Chevy Trax oil filter location?

Your 2018 Chevrolet Trax will use a cartridge style filter. To change, You'll first need to locate it on the driver's side of the engine. The cap should be relatively visible, but You'll need a 32mm wrench to access it. Once You undo the cap, leave it alone for the time being. Unscrew the oil drain plug (which uses a 15mm wrench), drain the oil, and then remove the filter from the housing. You'll then replace it with the new oil filter, then screw the cap on by hand until You hear the filter snap into place. Next, use Your ratchet to snug it up. It's always recommended that You change the cap seal O-ring whenever You swap out the oil filter.
