The factory amplifier in Your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee is located under the rear seats on the passenger side. This is the amplifier that powers all the speakers in Your Jeep, as well as the subwoofer. If You are looking to add additional speakers or amplifiers to Your Jeep then tapping into the wiring to the amplifier is a good way to do it. Usually the signal You will get will be coming from the head unit and will be relatively clean for output to another amplifier or processor to handle. If Your amplifier is failing then I recommend contacting Jeep as they do have replacements available for all of the different trim levels.

These answers are wrong. The amp is in the rear cargo area, left sidebehind the plastic tire surround and side panel.
