The 2018 Mazda CX5 uses M12 X1.5 lug nuts on the vehicle with a 21mm hex. This means that You will need to use a 21mm socket in order to remove the lug nuts from Your car. When You are removing lug nuts it is a good idea to use an impact driver because they can easily break the torque that holds the lugs in place. When You go to reinstall them though You should use a calibrated torque wrench. Using an impact driver while installing them can strip out the nuts or the studs and that can lead to needing to replace either the wheels, nuts, or the studs on the wheel hub assembly depending on what got damaged.
