The lug nuts on Your 2019 Subaru Outback are M12 X1.25 with a 19mm hex. The M12 X1.25 is the thread diameter and pitch, while the 19mm hex is the size socket that You will need to remove the lugs. If You need to remove Your lug nuts I would suggest using an impact gun because they can remove the bolts faster and easier than using a standard handheld wrench. When You are reinstalling the lug nuts You should use a torque wrench. Impact guns can put too much torque on the threads when You use them to install a lug nut, and that can strip out a stud. If You do strip out a stud You will need to have it replaced.

Just purchased 2019 Outback. Doesn't look like a regular hex socket would work. There are no flats. Maybe a spline or E-Torx. Nobody out there has the same type? Haven't looked at the lug wrench yet.
